About

I am a high school student at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, a computer science enthusiast as well as an open-source developer. I have been involved in various open-source projects for the past several years, such as developing an Android-based operating system, creating Android device-specific frameworks, building Alexa skills and web apps, and more. My GitHub profile has more of my work and contributions to the open-source community. As the founder of ShapeShiftOS, I've earned recognition as an XDA Recognized Developer, and have mentored other developers and ensured compliance with open-source licenses.

My passion for open-source development is matched by my interest in natural language processing (NLP) and linguistics, which I have explored through attending the Indian Linguistics Olympiad Camp, designing interaction models for Alexa skills, and studying constructed languages on ConWorkShop and other forums on the Internet.

I have also excelled in various Olympiads, both national and international, in subjects such as mathematics, linguistics, and chemistry, with several notable awards such as representing India at the Asia Pacific Linguistics Olympiad (APLO) and the SOF Academic Excellence Scholarship for being among the top 0.005% of students who appeared for the SOF Olympiads in 2020-21.

I have been actively involved in Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, both as a delegate and as a Secretariat member. I have held leadership positions such as the MUN Secretary of the School Council twice, the Secretary General of the Shiv Nadar School Faridabad MUN 2023, the Head of Delegate Affairs for the Shiv Nadar School Faridabad MUN 2022, and have received commendations at 7 MUNs.

MUN Research Engine

An open-source MUN research web application that can help delegates around the world jumpstart their MUN research. Shared with the school MUN club and local MUN circuit with positive feedback.
- Uses Google Search APl to fetch information from core.ac.uk, Reuters, and the UN website
- Constructs a flag emoji for a country using code, as well as fetches information about the country from the World Bank API
- Was used as the framework for the MUNify app's research bot, which can be installed from Google's Play Store

Shiv Nadar School Faridabad MUN 2022/2023 Website

An open-source MUN conference website from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that was used by everyone participating in the conferences in 2022 and 2023. Includes information about the MUN, registrations, agendas for each committee, important documents, and a gallery.

Food Menu Alexa Skill

An open-source Node.js code for an Alexa skill that retrieves meal information for a given date and time from the Shiv Nadar School Faridabad Menu. Includes a comprehensive voice interaction model trained over 1 week.

Model United Nations Leadership
